New Website 27/11/2009

We are always looking for new and innovative ways of interacting with the Chichester community and are currently experimenting with a new website. This new site enables us, through the format of a blog, to keep you up to date with our campaigns, events and activities - while giving you the chance to comment and give us your feedback. Our hope is that this new site will help to engage members and non-members alike.

    Message of Thanks,
I would like to personally like to thank all the voters and other residents who engaged in the general election this year.
It has been a privilege to be the Labour Party Candidate here in Chichester and the campaign was clean, honest and fought with much enthusiasm and vigour.

Many people I have met during my street stalls, community engagements and residential visits travelling from Selsey to Haslemere from Oving to Wetsbourne have made it enjoyable experience one which I will never forget.

Politics has now started a new period of trust and expectation I hope that the faith that me and all other voters in Chichester now entrust into the new intake will not be broken. I wish Andrew Tyrie all the best for his new term and hope that the challenge is to make sure no one is left behind as his Con/Lib coalition moves forward with their programme of change.

Simon was Chichester's Labour Party candidate at the general election.
